Smelling the roses....er..the grass, I mean....

So the nerd crew had a relatively unevenful day (the nerd crew being myself and E.V., in case there was any confusion).... cleaning, shopping and the like.  One of my favorite aspects of E.V. is her infatuation with grass...


"Mmmmm...this smells SO good!"


She has really made an amazing transition from home to apartment dog.  I know it's been difficult, but she has really succeeded..so now she just enjoys other people's lawns:

"We just act like we belong, and no one asks any questions :-)"

Getting back to the real point... cooking...This evening is almost reminscent of last evening as far as the food is concerned.  I had leftovers, and since I spent the remainder of my disposable income on more shoes, I felt the need to utilize these left overs!  Just kidding!


I made breakfast for dinner!  A mushroom/prosciutto omelet.  I whipped up two eggs and added the mushroom/prosciutto mix from last evening.  I then made toast in the shape of flowers (I never did care for the crust), and a blueberry/cantaloupe soup (with leftover fruit from earlier in the week).  It was delicious and well under $2.00.. 





I am still working on improving the photograhy, as well as the food. As well as hoping to do something special for the holiday.  I am still super-focused on the "mini" theme!  E.V. will be sure and join us if she ever comes out from underneath the bed!
