My sweet Peavilicious and I had a spectacular day! Speaking of the awesomeness of bee's knees...chainsaw jugglers just plain rock...We took care of the homeless cats, we ate some delicious food, hung out at the wall and...that's it... Oh, wait, we listened to King for a Day...tisk-tisk..
"Mama...come on...we have lots to cover and do not have time for funny-business..funny being rather questionable at this point... Besides...your air drum AND guitar still need lots of work...I have no idea what it was you were thinking..."
My two most favorite kitties were still at PetSmart....as I had hoped they would be....they are a couple of precious little gals...and I would bring them home if I had room...and time...
For the first time on the world wide web...Nora and Chloe...total sweethearts!
I did end up cooking something...I kept things simple, as it was late and daylight had completely vanished...We made a frittata! Frittata's are fun...well, not as fun as puns, but then again...what is???? Hmmm, maybe P.T.I's?? This one was made with goat cheese and prosciutto...ummmm...
Bad Photography Lesson #1: Eggs...prosciutto, butter, goat cheese and wheat bread do not photograph well in your kitchen at 7:30pm...
We began by mixing the eggs..I did take a photo of that...but felt it would behoove me to omit posting my photo of that step. You'll thank me one day, I promise you... It was like watching paint dry... Even I found no humor in that step...We proceeded to create crispy prosciutto...However, this time...in the skillet of injustice...I only promised not to mention the skillet of justice....HUGE difference, huge...
Once the prosciutto has been crisped and removed...add your eggs and cook for one minute....Then top with goat cheese and bake for four minutes in the oven...
A meal is born..so to speak...Maybe it's just me...I've been rather distracted lately..It was really tasty...it did contain goat cheese. You can't go wrong with that...well 99% of the time, I guess..
Here is dinner...
Bad Photography Lesson #2: Frittata, toast and champagne grapes do not photograph well in your kitchen at 7:55 pm...
I tried...I tried...Perhaps one should keep their camera out of reach after dusk...I have lots of excuses...all of which I will save for another evening...
"Mama...the leftovers were super awesome...just like possum..." My sassy, sweet gal knows her stuff!!!
I hope there were no regrets in joining us..we do our best to make light of our lives....It can be a challenge. We appreciate your patience and hope to see you tomorrow....
