A Case of the Mondays...

Ummm, yeah...hmmmm..Did you get that memo???  About those TPS reports  ... Yeah...that'd be great...mmmkkkk.  Office Space.  One of the best movies of all time.  It can absolutely be appreciated, especially by anyone that has ever had a cubicle job and were just a number, not a name.  In a previous life I was 27271, if you cared.  After all, who wouldn't want to know that sort of information...it's totally fascinating.  But that's me!  I'm all about TMI.  hahahahaha..  I'm still on this acronym phase...but I know that some day I will grow out of it!  29603..you KNOW where to find me!  Give me a call if you are reading!

Acronyms aside.  I will have you know that I made a flatbread pizza for dinner.  I typically begin with something else.  A story, a point, an obsession, something witty and undeniably unforgettable.... I will never let you down again....Unfortunately our day was that busy and without incident.  Aside from my brief trip to the market where I was surrounded by Cadillac-sized shopping carts that accommodate small children and babies, I worked.  I hate those carts!  They're bigger than my apartment and they tend to house sticky, screaming kids with mothers who feel they are entitled to the right-of-way.  Avoid the market during the day if you can...that's when the 'Moms' are out and it is ugly..hahahahaha.  Seriously, it is.

E.V. is the world's greatest and most efficient 'dish-washer.'

"Mama....this is how I pay my way around here.  The plate will be so clean there will be no need to put it in the dishwasher!  I'm just looking out for us 'cause that's the kind of gal I am!"

She is just too thoughtful.  Although, unbeknownst to her...that plate actually will be in the dishwasher in about two minutes.  I just didn't have the heart....I'm a neat-freak of sorts.  I can't help myself.

My pizza.  It's a white pizza, no red sauce, but it makes it that much better!
Italian sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, mozarella pearls and my sauce consisting of garlic, olive oil, butter and thyme.

I have issues with packets of active yeast, therefore I, 99.9% of the time do not make my own dough.  I'm lame that way.  I love using naan.  It is perfect for pizza!

I did photograph the assembled pizza, but my photos were horrible....Even E.V. was one to concur on my astute observation.

"Mama, that was the worst photo I have ever seen.  I can't even look...it makes me ill.  Hit delete ASAP!"  Now I've gotten her into the acronyms.  hahahahah

So I would rather not share.  I can't take the shame and have no energy to apologize.  But, once it finished baking, it suddenly was very photogenic.

Yay!!  Food!!  Grrrrrr!

Of course, I was sweated by a certain little black-haired cutie for a few morsels....And it has been previously established..I can spot a cutie from a mile away.  An expert in the department so-to-speak.....
"So Mama, you gonna share a slice???"

She knows I'm just a sucker and she'll probably end up with the rest of it.  I had one piece, but I'm saving myself for the Phish Food ice cream in the freezer.  Chocolate, especially in ice cream form, makes everything soooo much better!

So, we are off...to enjoy some ice cream and attempt to get a reasonable night's rest.  I think we're both exhausted from the weekend's activities.  Being a GGW is tough work, and we speak from experience!  Joe Francis even witnessed our shenanigans...we have a meeting next week!  He's always looking for a gal in a bikini sporting spooky witch-fingered Bugles...I knew there'd be someone!!  Keep your fingers crossed...we may be the next 'it' DVD!!  Good night!
