Early (very) AM Work-outs Rock Your World!

Again...on this you just really, really...and I'll say it again, really need to trust me.  It gets the blood pumping, the heart racing and does a body good!  The ABSOLUTE best way to start the day...especially a depressing Monday.  I have a feeling this is going to be a spectacular week.  AND before you know it, I will have that J-Lo booty I always dreamed about!

"Mama, I have NO idea why you would complain.  Your booty is perfect!"  I am quite skeptical of anything she says...she'll say anything for a biscuit.  You can't trust a sneak!

Invigorated, and quite motivated from earlier mentioned activities... we ventured to the dog park. It was a very nice moment...it allowed E.V. to enjoy the beautiful weather...a day like today is why I totally love, love, love Portland!

"Mama..you got the camera???  Are you capturing this moment???  I know you...so you'd better be doing something of the sort!  I'm a busy gal and I don't have all day to sit around posing for you!"

Again...what a drama queen...when will this ever end!  After the park adventure, we found ourselves back at the apartment...which allowed E.V. to enjoy her new bone.

"Mama, this bone rocks my world!"
I know what you're saying Sweet Pea...I know what you're saying!

Eventually we moved onto a nice dinner.  My time was not as flexible as it was this weekend..however, I did find time to roast my red pepper...Isn't is pretty??

A little withered...but wouldn't you be after 36 hours under a broiler.  My stove is so sub-standard I could scream!  Where is a fire-breathing dragon when you need one???  Hello??  Puff???  Are you available???  Puff???  Note to self....ISO a Magic Dragon...inquire within. :-)

Along with my roasted pepper, I included some additional veggies as well as some garlic and pearl-sized mozzarella.  As you all know, I totally live on the edge..and this dish absolutely SCREAMS edgy..hahahhahaha..not really.  It screams economical (aka cheap and lazy)...   But if I say it enough, it just might become true!  Oh, so here are the other 'stars' of my dish.....

Can I get a shout out for.....zucchini, roasted red peppers, yellow squash, basil, garlic and mozzarella.  They are soooo touched by your interest...so you'd better act interested, or else :-)  You don't want to hurt their feelings....  They walk out, I'm toast...
no meal, no nothing!  My reputation would be destroyed!  ahahahahaha.

Alright...so allow me to introduce....Capellini ala Lesley....otherwise known as pasta mixed with whatever your lame, too-lazy-to-go-to-the-market-for-more-groceries self has around the house.. Surprisingly, it was quite tasty!  Magic.  Absolute magic.  It'll rock your world...and trust me...I know what that is ALL about.

Dinner is served...

Perhaps my description was sort of an embellishment..but I need to heighten the attractiveness whenever possible.  It's that important...just ask E.V.!

"I agree with everything, Mama...Just please allow me some peace in the cool grass!"

Again, have a terrific week...I know I will..and be sure and go cook something!  It does a body good! Thanks as always for joining us...as does E.V., but she is a little pre-occupied.  Have a fantastic evening!!
