My new vacuum!!
It is probably a good thing you were seated for this announcement. I do not want to be liable for broken bones, torn ligaments, whiplash or heart attacks... My nest egg has already been depleted from a series of unfortunate events, so please contain your excitement! Although I can find it hard to do, considering my new vacuum is pink...fuchsia actually. The best part....it matches my toenail polish! I can perform basic household tasks in style..I match the vacuum. We are color coordinated! That's all that matters. She has not yet been named. I didn't want to jump the gun and such. I need to see how she operates before I take the leap. Completely understandable if you ask me...but I don't recall anyone asking.. E.V. loves her!
"Yes, Mama...your new vacuum is spectacular...please just leave me alone. I have an agenda, and sleep is at the top!"
One day she will thank me when the sofa isn't filled with dog hair...
Aside from my new vacuum, there isn't much to report. I can feel the tears building up as I type...just kidding.. My car is quite enjoying her new spot in the safe garage. However, there are lots of concrete pillars..I foresee hitting one in the future. They're all over the place and absolutely unavoidable! One of the main reasons I hate garage parking...
"Mama, no offense...your driving is awful...how did you ever get a license. It's petrifying!"
Boo and Hiss!!!
This would have been an appropriate moment to lie and say my camera broke, or I didn't eat, or a gigantic purple alligator showed up at my front door asking for directions to Pismo Beach.... However, I wouldn't lie. It's too much energy to do so...So allow me to present my failure. It was supposed to be a souffle. I've made them twice before and none ever looked like the above (but no camera was present...sneaky souffle)...so I call it a "mini fritatta." I used my leftover spinach for the "fritatta" and my leftover steak for the steak crepes with horseradish cream. I should have just stayed in bed this morning....Live and learn..
At least dessert was not ruined. That is merely because I had zero involvement. Again, thank you Leigh Ann and Amy for my gorgeous mini cake...
I plan on eating it all tonight...you've been warned.
I realize that is soooo utterly edgy..but I'm just a wild and crazy sort of gal. Hahahahha. Tonight it is Weezer....and, yep, my neighbors continue to harbor great resentment towards me...I'm working on my people skills. Oh, and Hey, there Rivers Cuomo...you know where to find me! *wink-wink...* Just ask Billie Joe and Joel Madden...I'm part of "the loop." hahahaha. Couldn't resist..any of them, actually, in case you were an inquisitive sort of individual. Have a nice evening.
I wanted to add a P.S...following this post regarding the above mini cake. I almost had a hint of guilt ruining it..but OMG, it is super yummy!!! TMI, I am sure...still working on the acronym thing..... ;-)
