The Cat's Meow!

No, really they do.  Meow and meow and meow....to what did you think I was referring???  heehee..  I'm strictly referring to the cats....maybe!  It's Thursday, that means it was my night with the cats at PetSmart.  There was a new one...quite a cutie!  And I am most definitely an expert in the cutie department.  Ask anyone...I know my stuff.  I have an unoffical degree in dectecting cuteness..a gift perhaps...
I don't even know the name...it didn't have a name tag anywhere...and I am only calling it an it because with cats it's too hard to tell, unless you've been professionally trained to make these sort of determinations.  I, however, am not.

This one reminded me of my two little sweeties...but they are living at the house.  It was best, as it is too dangerous here and they love the yard.  And I was their least favorite.  Go figure!  Fickle cats!  Hi, Scout and Jem..in case you're reading!  But, I am no dead-beat mom...I send my cat support faithfully each month so they are well taken care of.

Here is one of the most precious cats around....she has a name, and a brother, however it escapes me at the moment.
"I'm pretty sneaky!!!  And I like to trip people, but I'm super-duper friendly!"

So all went well, only one cat was partially squished.  My-bad, but I'm getting better!  Probably the WORST thing was when I accidentally walked into the men's bathroom by mistake.  I am still uncertain as to whom was more mortified..me or the guy utilizing the facilities.  I just may never be the same.  We can leave it at that. This is a family-friendly blog... :-)

Oh, so someone was the fortunate recipient of a bath and nail trim.  And, no, it was not me..it's only Thursday.  I reserve that for Saturday nights.  hahahaha.  Not really...well, maybe!  So E.V. received a special treat..since I never provide special treats, I'm sooo neglectful!

"Hey, Mama..check out my nails and shiny coat.  Don't I smell divine!"  It was much needed...trust me.  We share a bed, so I notice these types of things.  I will mention that I use the term 'share' quite loosely.  In all actuality it's more 75%-25%, in her favor of course.

We ventured into the thriving metropolis today, although it's not as fun as it might sound.  It was the weekly work luncheon.  I still am unable to conclude whether actually working, or talking about said work is worse.  After all, telecom is THE most sensational and astounding career choice....not like being a model or something.  I'm sure that type of career just sooo substandard.  And boring...enormously dull.  But we did get out of the house, thereby shedding our hermit image..if only briefly.  It's a total work in progress....or WIP...for the acronym fans such as myself.  teehee....or shall I say LOL.

Bearing in mind we didn't get home until after 8pm.  It is apallingly late for us both.  But we secretly are nerds, don't let on to anyone else.  I do not want to destroy my reputation...we are really the Cat's Pajamas...that's my story and I'm sticking to it!  Well, getting back on track, I did have a track when I began this paragraph.  Wait...remain calm, it will come to me in a moment..I just know!  Oh, yeah!  My meal!  That's the notion of this blog in the first place...

The feast.  No, scratch that...feast is just not really what should, by any means, be used to describe tonight.  I was more like MacGyver in the kitchen..  If I would have had a rubber band, a paper clip, some post-it notes and a stick of gum...I totally would have been able to hotwire a car, rob a bank and pick a lock!  Maybe..  But I'm a model citizen...well except for that one time in college, oh, and that other time in 2006...Again, just kidding... I profusely apologize for the interruption.  I am sure you are awaiting with bated breath (or baited breath if you're a fish) for the meal...I'm a 'pun' kinda gal..ask anyone.  tisk..tisk and tee hee...

BC chicken from a PC chick...hahahahaha....Seriously, blue cheese chicken (I luckily found some in the freezer) with pasta.  Not too bad...but nothing that would rock your world...but that is not something to which I could relate....nope....  not one single iota!  hahahahahaha.  No, I had to make something, as the olives from my martini would not sustain me until tomorrow...  Go figure! :-)

I will forewarn you...if I do not make it to the market tomorrow, the featured 'dish' will be croutons, mayonnaise, capers and pretzel sticks.  Doesn't that just sound heavenly!!??!!  Maybe some frozen peas.  One's mouth should be watering right about now!  It'll be a low point in my culinary history, low I say...even lower than the DOW...and THAT is bad...and low....

I have Vincent Chase and a paltry television set awaiting my arrival in the living room...the screen can't be much bigger than my Crackberry...but it will do for now...  I can't let them down...well, especially Vincent.  grrrr.  Talk about the Cat's Meow.  hahahahahaha.  No, I am realistic about such things....  Billie Joe would totally ask me out before Vincent would!  hahahahaha.  Actually, I would imagine there would be a fist-fight of sorts over who got to take me home...but surely that is just my vivid imagination...There you have it tonight folks....two gals maintaining a genuine existence all by ourselves....one day at a time!  And one of us has nice nails! ;-)  But it's not me!!  Talk about making sacrifices!  Yeah, and if you didn't know...in my free time I'm a martyr.  tee-triple-hee...  Thanks for tuning in...
