SWF GGW. Portland Edition!

Yay for Friday!!  Typically E.V. and I party like rock-stars on Friday nights.  I would imagine that is a little known fact to most others.  We're rather private about the entire situation.  We use fake id's and disguises, like wigs and such.  But only when we go out in public.  In the privacy of our own apartment however, pretty much anything goes.  And let me tell you, tonight was no exception!  It was a long week, so we were anxious for the outrageousness to begin.  I think it was due mostly from the inspiration of my spectacular, delicious, not to mention unforgettable meal.  I really out-did myself, but then again that should be expected by now.  teehee..not really.  Oh, it's so hard to be humble...Are you ready????  Can you take this suspense????  Alright....

Thank YOU, 7-11!!

I failed to make it to the store...so we splurged on delicious Bugles!  We have one right down the street.  Sooo convenient!  One cannot argue their salty goodness!

E.V. was thrilled with the thought!  She nearly tackled me to the ground when I opened up the bag...

"Mama, I love, love, love Bugles.  Hurry it up.  I'm starving!!"

I, too, was starving.  I haven't had a thing to eat all day.  Chances are we will overindulge and eat the entire bag.  I'm not ashamed to make such confession.  They will be a nice treat while we sit on the couch watching Entourage.  Just the three of us!

He gets to sit next to me on the couch, but it was only after he promised to keep his hands to himself.  Attempting to put his hand on my knee results in immediate expulsion.  I've explained I'm not that kind of girl!  We'll see how the evening goes...

Before we all called it a day and retreated to the couch...I thought it would be entertaining to have some amusement with our Bugles.

Can you even begin to guess which path was chosen?????

Yep, for once I wanted to be the majority!  My maniacal witch laugh was unquestionably the very best!  There I go again, being humble!  As I said, it's a difficult job but we all need to do our part!

I recall it being much easier to do the whole Bugle witch-finger thing as a kid...but that was before I had man-hands.  However, I did manage to pull it off, kinda-sorta...

E.V. was not as eager to take part in running around the apartment acting like a witch.  I feel as though she may have been a tad bit mortified.  On the other hand, I took all precautions...the blinds were pulled, the doors closed...making it impossible for anyone to witness!
"Mama, I can't eve bear to watch.  I'll open my eyes when you're finished.  You look like a fool!  Not to mention, you REALLY need to get out of this apartment more often!"  She has absolutely no sense of adventure sometimes.  Total stick-in-the-mud.

I, on the otherhand had a howling good time...well maybe kinda-sorta...  Being a Bugle-fingered witch isn't all that bad, but I will keep my day job and promise to only act like a witch a couple of times a year. :-)

Speaking of witch fingers, since I didn't actually cook tonight, which is what I should have been doing, but I wasted my evening away running around here pretending to be a witch.  Perhaps I should re-think my priorities.  hahahaha.  I wanted to share the Spooky Witch Finger Cookies I made for Halloween the other year.
They were delicious, and looked like witch fingers!  It's all about the almond fingernails. :-)

I did do something productive this evening, in-between being a Bugle-fingered witch.  I planned my meal for tomorrow.  It'll be much better than Bugles, maybe...My witch fingers are crossed!

Thanks for joining a couple of SWF GGW...spooky witch-fingered girls gone wild!  It was enormously entertaining...I'm off to eat some more Bugles!  Hope your Friday night was just as crazy as ours!!
